Final Details for Gifted Education Day

Here are the latest details and information on the planned activities for families from the Challenge Program in Edmonds School District attending Gifted Education Day in Olympia on Friday, February 5th. Everyone who has registered with CPA has received this information in email, but anyone with students in the gifted education programs are welcome to participate in Olympia on the 5th.

Please view the GED Itinerary for the latest details on meetings with legislators, tours of the Capitol, and travel directions. We hope to see you there!

Math Night Volunteers Needed–Monday, November 16th, 2009

Math Night will be bigger and better than ever this year, but we need your help to make all the great activities happen for our students. Volunteers are needed for several activity stations from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Terrace Park PTA will provide free pizza and a soda to each volunteer.

Mom and Dad– looking for something cool to do on our next NO STUDENT day, Friday Nov. 6th? Join other Challenge families and learn from the one and only BioLyle how biofuel is made from recycled restaurant oil! This is a fun and exciting hands-on workshop.

Come join other Challenge families for this spectacular show. We have 4 tickets left and hope to caravan. If you are interested, the pricing is $42 for each ticket, including fees and taxes. The performance is Sunday Oct 4th at 1:00 PM at the Paramount Theater in Seattle.
