ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Wenda Sheard, JD, PhD, is an attorney, teacher, and mother of three grown gifted children. After practicing law for nearly 20 years, she earned a PhD in political science with an emphasis on education policy. From 2004-2006, Dr. Sheard taught school in China. She currently teaches in England and serves on the board of Potential Plus UK (formerly NAGC-UK). Dr. Sheard has presented at numerous gifted conferences and written many articles. She has helped teach the highly gifted portions of online gifted education courses and has presented at teacher in-service days. She has also worked, presented, and published in the political science field.
