Lisa Van Gemert Lisa Van Gemert, MEd, is the Gifted Youth Specialist for the Mensa Foundation, as well as a popular conference speaker and professional development facilitator. She holds a masters of education in teaching from the University of Texas at Arlington and was a teacher and school administrator prior to coming to Mensa. Lisa lives in Arlington, Texas, with her husband and the youngest of their three sons. When not indulging her passion for serving gifted kids, she likes to read and organize things (yes, this is a hobby). She also enjoys showing people the ultimate way to fold fitted sheets.
