Please plan to attend our first membership meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the Terrace Park Commons.

We will hold a brief business meeting from 6:30 to 7:00 (see agenda and May 2010 minutes). After the business meeting we will switch gears to a question and answer session with Highly-Capable district and school staff and faculty.

Faculty expected to attend include:

• Ruth Kenney (2nd/3rd grade)
• Marilyn Hall (4th grade)
• Brett Hagen (5th grade)
• Laurel Water (6th grade)*

Representatives of program administration include:

• Mary Freitas, Principal, Terrace Park school
• Nancy Gilbertson, Coordinator of Highly Capable Programs for Edmonds School District
• Dr. Tony Byrd, Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning, Edmonds School District

CPA will provide light snacks. For parents unable to secure childcare in order to attend the meeting, there will be an activity table set up in the back of the room for children who come with their parents.
